Zones 4-9. Very hardy tree, resistant to frost and snow damage, and resistant to pollution. Fast growing tree, and very long lived. Ideal landscaping tree and Christmas tree. Does well in full sun.
Hardy Tree Zones 4-9 , Full Sun , Salt Tolerant , Used on Superhighways for many years , very little lately due to some issues with fungal diseases and problem with a borer , although for the most part surviving through the waves of problematic issues. The only Pine that holds branches all the way to the bottom. Great for Blocking that Dusty Neighbor, has some sound barrier characteristics as well. Overuse in North America in the late 60’s to mid
