Zones 3-6. Slightly more compact variety of White Spruce, native to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
Slower growing version of the White Spruce. Holds shape much better, cold tolerant, and makes a better Christmas tree than most spruces but longer timeline . Good Landscape Tree.
Black Hill Spruce is a cultivar of White Spruce , holds shape better for Xmas Tree.
