Native Variety , Salix discolor, not very wide , can grow to be a tree much coarser than cultivated non natives. Found in swamps , ditches ,first catkins in Spring . Can be Invasive but it offers forage to many songbirds and small mammals. Cuttings must be rooted by purchaser, either in wet area or propagated in trays . Green thumb or professional grower recommended.
