Royal Red Maple

ROYAL RED MAPLE  (Acer platinodes "Royal Red" ) Non Native , Red Leaves Spring till Mid Summer , salt tolerant , pollution tolerant. Medium sized Maple, casts heavy shade. Does not tolerate wet areas. Subject to tar spot  and bark can split in winter. Most Trees are sterile but may still be considered by some as invasive. Good Accent Tree, used on long driveways, back yards , sitting area's . Still has use in the landscape,  should not be overused.
